P.G.M INSTITUTE OF TEACHER EDUCATION
P.G.M Institute of Teacher education is one of the prestigious centres of Teacher Education located at Parakode, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India Since 1958. This is an accredited 1st grade Teacher Training Institute under the control of DGE Kerala, SCERT and following the rules and regulations of NCTE. The institute was founded by Late. Sri. Ampiyil R Sankara Pillai, a social reformer at Parakode. The institute envisions to continue reinforcing, reaffirming and reiterating its philosophy through various educational endeavours. It is hoped that in the process of national reconstruction our members of the teaching profession will play their role and this institution will succeed in its efforts to produce exemplary teachers, offers top-quality education and training to prospective teachers, with well established resources in terms of infrastructure, proficient faculty and vibrant curricular programmes. This educational gate way takes you to the expansive vista of a career that has been described- for good reason- as the best of all calling.
